Reminder:  We have a meeting Monday, August 13 - 5:30-7:00pm, at the library.

We have had some dramatic changes in the past 10 days:  ACME Brick donated 3 pallets of brick.  We were able to build a brick pathway.  With the extra brick, we will make some stepping squares from the shed to the the garden and make borders along the edges.

Saturday, a man riding his bicycle by stopped to watch the path construction...it didn't take long for him to get involved and stayed until it the brick was all laid out.  This isn't the only time we have had an "Angel" stop by and help out without wanting anything in return. This is so encouraging and beautiful.

We are using the brick as a border around the berm and garden beds and if anyone is interested in helping, let us know.

While excavating for the pathway we created a berm with the extra dirt, in the front of the garden, and planted some flowers.

We have had a lot of neighbors stop by with great comments and yelled out their cars how they liked what we've done.
